The project required a comprehensive scaffold and encapsulation system to facilitate a full scope of works, including plumbing, electrical installation, and complete re-roofing. Given the exposed coastal location, the structure was designed to provide both safe access and protection from the elements throughout the duration of the project.
Logistics presented a significant challenge, with the castle’s access heavily dependent on fast-moving tidal conditions. All materials and equipment had to be carefully coordinated and delivered via a managed service, requiring precise planning and timing.
Despite these constraints, Alliance Scaffold delivered a reliable and adaptable solution, enabling multiple trades to work efficiently and ensuring the successful restoration of this historic site.
